Jeanie Schlump has maintained a self-supporting studio in Laramie, Wyoming since 1990. Her iconography is evenly divided between images of Western skies, plains and colorful abstract renditions.
She won the highest award in sculpture from the Wyoming State Historical Society for carving 19 replacement architectural stones on the Methodist Church in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Jeanie Schlump has received 4 purchase awards from the State of Wyoming and has a 14 foot montage painting on permanent display at the City Hall in Laramie, Wyoming. She has sold art world-wide, as far spread as Korea, Australia, and England.
Jeanie is a professor of Art at Laramie County Community College, Albany County branch, where she teaches painting, drawing, and sculpture.
